I am Cori Odom, the STEM teacher at Lacy. This is my 27th year of teaching. I have worn many hats in the classroom over the years, all in North Carolina, including classroom teacher, AIG teacher, Intervention teacher, media specialist and most recently Technology Teacher. I am excited to start my 3rd year at Lacy as the STEM teacher. I received my BA in Communication from NC State (GO PACK!!), and then went on to earn my teaching license through Meredith College, as well as my AIG certification.
When I am not working, I enjoy being outside working in the yard and exercising. I keep active by biking, taking long walks, paddle boarding, and playing pickleball! I live in Holly Springs with my 3 daughters Cameron, who graduated from the University of South Carolina, Caroline who is a senior at UNCW, and Lindsay, a senior, with a passion for the theatre and music, at Holly Springs High School. We have 2 crazy dogs, Maverick, an 10 lb chihuahua and Bing an 80lb chocolate lab.
If you can’t find me at school, you might try the beach…….!
